RICS Home Survey Level 2 Inspections

The RICS Home Survey Level 2 Inspections are a mid range product which are provided either with or without valuations. The product uses a standard RICS template which categorises the condition of various elements of the building using a ‘traffic light’ system. Areas that are coded red are considered serious and/or need to be repaired, replaced or investigated urgently. Amber coding shows those areas where there might be a liability in the near future and where costs of repair should be identified as a precaution whilst the green coding identifies an area where there are no particular concerns but the property should be maintained in the normal way.

This type of report is not suitable for Listed Buildings, properties that require extensive repair or refurbishment or for properties built prior to circa 1850.
